To Assign a Part Number to a Hyperlink

This procedure details how to create a hyperlink for a part number, then assign that hyperlink to the part number.

Select to display the Parts Database Manager option from the Manage Ribbon.
Select the desired part number record.
Enter the complete URL in the URL field.
Select Apply to save the parts record.
Right-click on the symbol corresponding to the part number created above.
Select Hyperlink > Part Number URL from the menu. (The assigned URL will be displayed in this sub-menu.
Select the displayed URL.
